Stadium Policies

Rain Check Policy:

  • Your ticket will serve as a rain check if:
    • The game is rained out and never starts
    • The game is suspended
  • No rain check if:
    • The game is played
    • We play 4-1/2 innings and are winning
  • Rain checks are good for any future regular season home game and can be redeemed for best available seats of equal or lesser value

The Miners seek to provide an enjoyable experience for all. We and ask that guests abide by the following rules:

Alcohol Management: In compliance with the New Jersey state law, any person under the age of 21 will not be served alcohol. Valid identification is required for all alcohol purchases.

Animals: Pets are not permitted at Skylands Stadium with the exception of service animals accompanying guests with disabilities. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered; and handled under ADA guidelines. If special accommodations are required, please contact our box office.

Bags: All bags are subject to inspection upon entering the ballpark. To expedite your entry, the Miners recommend keeping all bags inside your vehicle.

Ejections: The Miners reserve the right to eject any person whose behavior is considered unruly or found illegal. Game tickets will be collected without refund and the individual(s) will be escorted from the ballpark. Ejected guests trying to re-enter the ballpark can be arrested for trespassing.

Food and Drinks: No outside food or beverages are allowed into Skylands Stadium. This includes but is not limited to: coolers, cans, bottles, food, and/or water.

Foul Balls: Fans may keep any foul ball that is hit into the stands. Please stay alert at all times, as bats and balls can be potentially dangerous. Fans are not permitted to reach into fair territory to catch a ball or otherwise interfere with a player or ball still in play. Violators are subject to ejection. In addition, those leaving Skylands Stadium to retrieve a ball will not be allowed back into the ballpark.

Photographs and Video: Any photographs and video taken at Skylands Stadium by our representatives become the property of the Sussex County Miners and may be used at our discretion with no additional compensation.

Scalping: Scalping tickets is prohibited at the ballpark and is also prohibited in the Skylands Sports Complex parking lot. Violators will be prosecuted.

Smoking and Vaping: Smoking and vaping are not allowed in any part of Skylands Stadium with the exception of our Cigar Deck. Those who wish to smoke can do so outside the park in the centrally located designated area.

Tailgating: Tailgating is not permitted in any of the Skylands Sports Complex parking lots.
