Pomona, NY – The Rockland Boulders (2-1) outhit the Sussex County Miners (1-2) 11-4 en route to their 8-1 victory in the first game of the doubleheader. Rockland SS Junior Arrojo hit a home run for the second night in a row, propelling the Boulders’ offense going 2-for-4 with six RBI. Boulders’ starter Richard Salazar (1-0) earned the win throwing 5.1 innings, allowing one earned run on three hits with five strikeouts. For Sussex County, 2B Ryan Lashley paced the offense going 2-for-3 with a run scored. In the second game of the twin bill, the Miners were leading 1-0 before play was suspended. An announcement regarding the make-up game will be made at a later date.
