SUSSEX COUNTY MINERS JOURNEY TO A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY FOR STAR WARS NIGHT

Taking Place on June 9 During the International Series vs. the Dominican Republic, Resistance and First Order Supporters of All Ages Can Celebrate the Greatest Movie Franchise of All Time

Festivities Include a Special Lightsaber Giveaway, Meet and Greet With Herbie-Wan Kenobi, Photo Ops With Star Wars Characters, a Silent Auction of Player-Signed Game-Worn Star Wars Miners Jerseys to Benefit the SCARC Foundation and More

Augusta, NJ – The Force is with Sussex County Miners. On June 9th, all Jedi and Sith as well as Resistance and First Order supporters are invited to journey to a galaxy far, far away and celebrate Star Wars Night. Everybody in attendance at Skylands Stadium will be treated to a spectacular evening of baseball between the Miners and the Dominican Republic while paying homage to the greatest movie franchise of all-time. 

Everybody is invited to dress up as their favorite Star Wars character and embrace all the fun. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE lightsaber. Attendees can participate in Star Wars-themed games and take in Star Wars music and videos. Younglings and padiwans can go to a meet and greet with the Miners’ greatest Jedi of all, Herbie-Wan Kenobi. In addition, there will be a silent auction of player-signed game-worn Star Wars Miners jerseys to benefit the SCARC Foundation.

Following the game, fans will witness the true firepower of the Sussex County Miners. No, Starkiller Base will not be destroyed. However everyone will be treated to the biggest fireworks show in Sussex County! For ticket information and more, go to call 973.940.0222.
